Look well to this day
for it is life
The very best of life
In its brief course lie all
The realities and truths of existence,
The joy of growth, the splendour of action, the glory of power.
For yesterday is but a memory.
And tomorrow is only a vision.
But today well lived makes every yesterday a memory of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.

Look well, therefore to this day.

Ancient Sanskrit Poem.

Frequently asked Questions:

How long will I need counselling for?

It is impossible to say how long counselling will benefit you. Every client and their needs are different. Some clients come for just a few sessions, others over many months. The therapy will be evaluated between client and counsellor on regular intervals. The counsellor will never suggest an end for therapy, it is the clients own responsibility to decide when they feel ready to end.

Will the counsellor advise me what to do?

The counsellor, rather than “advise” you, will work alongside you and offer non-judgemental support whilst you explore these areas that you are experiencing difficulty with.

How long does each session last?

Each session will last for 50 minutes.

What happens during a session?

Each week you will meet with a counsellor at the same time and day (unless alternative arrangements have been made with your counsellor). This session is your time and space to discuss any issues which you feel you want to explore, there may even be some weeks where you chose to sit without discussing anything, this too is Ok. It is your time.
