How can hypnotherapy help me?
Everyone, at some point can find themselves with areas of their lives that they would like to change, these could be habits, behaviours or other particular problems or worries.
Often the "bad" habits or behaviours which bring us to therapy have already been put in place by "negative" self-hypnosis in the first place! It's only fitting then, that we treat and change these, by using hypnosis in a positive way. In other words, the bad habits, thinking styles and behaviours we have in place were put there initially, albeit unconsciously, by us!
Hypnotherapy works by allowing clients to address issues they wish to change in a very relaxed state.
When hypnotised, a person can "rehearse" a problem situation whilst feeling comfortable. This can be extremely beneficial for change as it allows the mind to "rehearse" a positive change so when the "real" situation occurs again we can confidently and naturally act differently.
